About Survival Skills for 21st Century String Players:

These days, classical chops are not enough. Knowing how to improvise in different styles, play electric and acoustic, have a home studio, compose and arrange, and cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit are just a few of the skills you need to survive. This lesson discusses what it means to be a successful string player in the 21st century.

This lesson was recorded as part of Strings Without Boundaries, a multi-style string conference operating for over 27 seasons. In partnership with artistic director Julie Lyonn Lieberman, recordings from past Strings Without Boundaries conferences are now available on myTalentForge.
