Hello!
I just joined Talent Forge.
I have only looked at a couple of these so far, but here is what I expected or what I would like to see.
First the piece played as you would play it performing it.
Then it can be broken down into the melody,
I think it is difficult to learn something so mechanically when there is no feeling to the tune when it is first heard, some of these tunes are not familiar and some are familiar.
I think what makes learning a tune exciting is hearing it first performed the way one would perform it on stage.
I know this takes time but it gives a student a goal, and when when one can hear it played with emotion they may learn that tune that way as well. I hope this helps. I have so much to learn but I am a visual and emotional learner. I do read sheet music too, but so much can’t be translated into the sheet, so this is why I like hearing it played by a professional like you first.
