About How to Capture the Style:
Styles throughout the world require subtle differences in the use of the bow and the left hand. Julie will start with muscle isolation’s for the bow arm to improve subtle dialogue when it comes to thought via nerve to muscle. We will cover whipped bows, pump versus pivot, three types of inflections, surges, chop, smileys versus stabs or hyphens, and more! For the left hand, we’ll focus on vibrato and slide variations, vertical technique, ghosting, and more.
