About Classical Bow Techniques:

Become more fluent and comfortable with traditional bowing techniques that are used in non-traditional styles. Have fun exploring creative approaches to practicing détaché,  martelé, staccato, and spiccato as well as string crossings and double stops. Gain confidence by unpacking the different elements in each stroke and bring new and innovative practice ideas back to the classroom and studio.

This lesson was recorded as part of Strings Without Boundaries, a multi-style string conference operating for over 27 seasons. In partnership with artistic director Julie Lyonn Lieberman, recordings from past Strings Without Boundaries conferences are now available on myTalentForge.
